Terms of service

The ground rules, in plain English.

These terms cover using framepoint.ai. Real client work runs on its own signed agreement. We kept the language as plain as the lawyers allow.

Effective September 30, 2026

These terms

This website, framepoint.ai, is run by Framepoint (“Framepoint”, “we”, “us”). By using it you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

These terms cover the website only. When we work with a client, a separate written agreement covers that work. If the two ever disagree, the signed agreement wins.

Using the site

You’re welcome to read, bookmark, share and link to any page. Please don’t:

  • copy, republish or resell the site’s text, drawings or case studies, beyond short quotes with credit and a link;
  • scrape or bulk-download the site, including to train or tune an AI model;
  • try to break, overload or probe the site, or get around anything that limits access;
  • pretend to be Framepoint or someone you aren’t;
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

What’s ours

The words, drawings, animations, code and design on this site belong to Framepoint or the people who licensed them to us. The Framepoint name, the F mark and our logos are ours too. Using the site doesn’t give you any rights to them beyond reading and sharing as described above.

Fonts and the open-source drawing library the site uses belong to their makers and are used under their own licences.

About the case studies

Our case studies describe real systems we’ve built, told through one invented vacation-rental company. The people, bookings, prices and numbers inside the drawings are made up. We show the systems as one company for clarity; in reality some clients use several and some use one.

Where a page gives a figure on a line labelled “The real system:”, that figure describes one client’s results. It isn’t a promise that your system will do the same. Every process is different, which is rather the point.

No advice, no engagement

The site explains how we think and work. It isn’t legal, financial, technical or any other professional advice for your situation, and you shouldn’t rely on it as if it were.

Writing to us, filling in the contact page or talking with us doesn’t create a client relationship or any obligation on either side. That only happens when we both sign an agreement.

What you send us

Until we’ve signed an agreement together, please don’t send trade secrets, confidential documents, or other people’s personal information. Describe the process in general terms. We’ll ask for detail once there’s a confidentiality agreement in place.

You let us use what you send to read it, reply, and talk with you about possible work. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.

Changes and availability

We redraw things often. We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time, and we don’t promise it will always be available or error-free.

Disclaimer

The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Framepoint won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100).

Some places don’t allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

If something goes wrong because of a misuse

If you break these terms or misuse the site and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, including reasonable legal fees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the site goes to the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut, and you and we both agree to those courts. If you’re a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your home country or state gives you.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after an update means you accept the new version.

If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a part right away, we haven’t given it up.
