If it’s hard to use, it’s our bug.
We want every visitor to get the whole story, drawings included. Here’s what we’ve done, what isn’t right yet, and how to tell us.
Effective September 30, 2026
Our goal
Framepoint wants framepoint.ai to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Drawings with words. Each sketch is marked as an image with a text description. The writing beside it tells the same story, so you never need to see the drawing to follow along.
- Motion you control. Sketches draw themselves once, when they scroll into view. If your device is set to reduce motion, they appear fully drawn and don’t animate. Nothing flashes.
- Keyboard friendly. Links, buttons and form fields can all be reached with a keyboard and show a clear focus outline. A “Skip to content” link is the first thing the Tab key reaches, and every page marks its main region for screen readers.
- Readable colour. Text meets the AA contrast ratio of 4.5:1, including small grey captions and orange notes, which use slightly deeper shades than the drawings’ lines. Checks, crosses and written labels back up colour, so meaning never depends on colour alone.
- Flexible layout. Pages reflow down to phone width and work when you zoom text to 200%.
- Plain forms. Every field on the contact page has a visible label, and errors are written out in words.
- Cookie card. It doesn’t block the page, it works with a keyboard, and both choices are buttons of the same size.
What isn’t right yet
We check our own pages, and we know about these gaps:
- Inside the drawings, labels use a handwriting typeface that some people find harder to read. The same information is always in the regular text beside them.
- On small screens, the small print inside some drawings gets very small. The text descriptions and the story cover the same ground.
- The contact page draws a live sketch as you type. The sketch is extra; the form works without it. If the form gives you any trouble, just email contact@framepoint.ai in your own words.
Based on these, we consider the site partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. “Partially” means some content doesn’t yet fully meet the standard.
How the site is built
The site uses HTML, CSS, SVG and JavaScript. The sketches are drawn with JavaScript. If JavaScript is off, the text and the real interface cards still show, but the pencil lines don’t.
Tell us
If something on the site is hard to use, or you need any page in another format, write to contact@framepoint.ai. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We’ll reply within five business days, and we can send the content as plain text or walk you through it on a call.
